This is Seth’s story.
Seth is our Junior Bike Mechanic and Sales Assistant at only 16 years of age. A very witty, fun, and highly intelligent, active, street-smart, ambitious young man who found his ‘outlet’ on the bike! We are extremely happy to have him in our team and lucky to be part of his journey. His story clearly demonstrates what cycling can do to any mind, body, and soul and reassures us why we do what we do, and why we love it so much. It also shows that every choice we make matters.
Dane is getting ready to compete:
What a month it has been for our local rider Dane. He spent the last week of April at Tweed Base Hospital after rupturing his esophagus which could have put a hold on his trip to Germany for the iXS Dirt-Masters Festival in Winterberg. He likes to blame his mum’s chicken for the tear however she claims he just doesn’t chew his food properly haha! On returning home from the hospital, he was determined to build his strength up again and start training hard for this GOLD-level Slopestyle event.
Well, what a way to start the year! Our local shredder Dane Folpp gained first place in the SILVER open men’s Slopestyle event at the Highline MTB Festival in March.
It’s going to be an exciting start to 2023 for our local shredder @dane_mtb.
Soon Dane will be traveling to Mansfield, Victoria to compete in the open men’s Slopestyle event at the Highline MTB Festival; 16-19 March.
